Monet's Impressions Reviews
-
A children's book with very detailed prints.
-
A fabulous little read for young children being exposed to Monet's Impressionistic work for the first time. One page has a full color painting, while the opposite page a simple sentence or statement from the artist himself. Make sure to break out the art supplies and create your own masterpieces together after reading.
-
This is a lovely book written for children, although art lovers of all ages will enjoy this read. Monet's book is written in his own words, translated from letters to family and friends. His lyrical words combined with his famous paintings make for a beautiful book; a work of art in itself.
-
this book is a children's book with Monet's paintings and next to each is a phrase, less than a sentence it's nice to look at and it literally takes less than 60 seconds to finish
-
Very simple introduction to Monet's works for children. Hope to find more books like it.
-
I enjoyed reading Monet's very poetic descriptions of life while viewing his artistic impressions. What a wonderful way to introduce children to the artist and his work.
-
Pretty cool book - uses reproductions of Monet's paintings in tandem with his words (from letters, correspondences, etc.) to introduce his work to children.
