I've not read any books by this author before. After reading this I'll certainly be going back and reading her Possessed Series. This is the story of Chris and his step sister Emily. We read of when they met years before at school. The story continues with Chris being a popular Motocross Racer who's a complete whore. Emily is a PR agent who's employed to clean up his nasty reputation. Has Chris got an ulterior motive for employing her??To some people this is a taboo read. It's the forbidden love between step siblings. I found it to be an enjoyable read.

3.5FORBIDDEN LOVE + wanting someone you CAN'T haveSounds like a book I wouldn't say no to, and add to that the racer part resulting in a done deal. The book was easy to read, it was addictive and a fun, quick, simple read. I finished it in one go and that says a great thing about it.Chris & Emily clearly have the hots for one another. BUT. And this is a huge but, their parents are together so... Yes that turns them into anything but an easy going couple if they decide to go there. As much as they feel that connection between then, the fact that they literally "cannot" be together or want each other, plays a huge role in how their personalities turn out, especially towards one another.I liked the bickering and the fact that from the very first time Chris thinks of Emily, there is that possessive aspect to it. I always love that. What can I say, I'm a sucker for all this alpha male.. can't help it ;)There wasn't much to provide that deeper more in depth connection of why they feel the way they do for one another. If we didn't get that glimpse that Chris actually wanted Emily in some way, then dialogues would have showed his as the playboy that he is and her as the annoyed girl who wouldn't have it.Parts like that made it hard for me to personally connect with the characters themselves.Aside from that, the story was very interesting, fun and above all very sexy :)If you're looking for an easy and quick but a bad boy-ish or forbidden love element to it, then definitely give this one a go. Thank you to the author for being able to provide an ARC copy! This was the first book I've read by Coco Cadence but it FOR SURE wont be the last.xx

Received a copy in exchange for an honest review“I just didn’t expect her to finally tell me what she really thought. What she’s been holding back all this tie. Her words cut me like a knife...because they are true.”4 hot stepbrother stars!!! Wow I fell in love with this book and I fell in love with Chris!! I’m a sucker for step-brother books and this one didn’t disappoint at all!!I’m a f*cking bastard. I f*ck girls to forget about her. She’s the girl I’m not supposed to want … my step-sister. She hates me for what I’ve done. I ruined her life. Now I’m a Motocross racer. A winner. A player. A bastard. But being a bastard comes with bad press. Lucky for me Emily is a PR agent. When she comes to work for me, I’ll make her remember why she once wanted me too. She can’t say no … she needs me to keep her job, and I need her to f*ck me. One way or another, she will be mine again. Chris and Emily have had an intense relationship from the get go and it never really ends, but what they won’t admit to is that they both have crazy feelings for each other. But what happens when they act on it?? What happens when their past comes back to haunt them?? This book was so much fun and such a great book, I read it in one sitting!!!**Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Read and reviewed by Melissa for Alpha Book Club**

BastardCoco Cadence3.5 starsThis is another step sibling story about “forbidden love.” Emily and Chris were brought together by the harsh realities of high school. Chris is the jock and Emily is the nerd. Their families in turmoil unknown to them their parents end up together AFTER Emily and Chris have already found an attraction. Unknowing that their parents were involved with each other Chris and Emily’s lives are shattered. Growing up and no longer together Emily is forced to be her step brothers PR person. Old habits die hard for these two. There are a lot of ups and downs in this book. Leo appears with Sam (a previous series that is complete by the same author) and Adrian; both Chris’s brothers, their parents … who will find out? Who will forbid them to be together? This book was not bad but Im not a huge fan of this genre. Others who are though have given it a thumbs up so who am I to tell you not to click it up. Give the book a looksie and form your own review! For me though the back and forth with Emily and Chris was just not my cup of tea. I like a stronger more determined female lead and the story didn’t have a lot of depth to it which I also like. BUT if you love some “forbidden romance” then click it on up friends! I received an ARC for an honest review.

This is an exciting second-chance stepbrother romance. I relished every line of swift-paced dialogue full of banter and sexy innuendo.A cocky motorcycle racer and the girl of his naughty dreams who has to fork for him to clean up his image? Bring it on!I've come to realise that I'm fond of snippets into the characters' past interspersed with the longer chapters of their current life. One thing that I like is when the male character actively pursues the heroine, so it was rewarding to see this hot biker fighting to get Emily back. He uses all his considerable male charms to wear her emotional barriers down so that she forgives him for their traumatic past together.Despite the light mood, there is lots of strong emotions in the story. Regret, fury, lust, doubt... all vie for the prize of Em and Chris's hearts. I liked very much to find out what had separated them at first, and how Chris now fights against everything to seduce Em's mind and body again. The final part is all about emotions and a couple of twisted secrets coming to light. And let's not forget those heart-racing steamy times. They rock! I really enjoyed Bastard, it's fun, hot and entertaining till the last page.First reviewed on Literaria http://sede-literaria.blogspot.com

Alpha Chris King is a motor cross racer who has a wild past with women. He hires Emily, his step sister,  as his PR agent to help him clean up his act. No women. No booze. I couldn't stop laughing about the condom episode. Poor Adrian. This series is an awesome read.

I'm a sucker for these Stepbrother Romances/taboo so I just couldn't say no.Being everything, I kind of liked this book; it took me only two days to read so it's captivating. It's nothing special or outstanding, but I'm not sorry I read it.Well, Chris is my bae, he's the heartbroken hero who just f*cks everything with a hole between their legs because he can't get over his high school sweetheart. He fights for what he wants and he doesn't give up easily on his ideas. He's stubborn and sexy as hell. I enjoyed reading his point's of view because even though he's the bad boy motocross rider, he's also soft and broken inside, because of his dear mother and of Emily. Ok, maybe he wronged Emily but he wasn't unforgivable.I can't say I enjoyed Emily's character. Yes, she's very broken for her father's suicide but she keeps living in the past and she just can't get over it. I think it's pathetic, because living only for memories is not ok, but anyway. She's too damn stubborn, won't accept the opportunity to be loved by Chris, again. And every time she gave in, she was sorry for what she's done and had lots of regrets afterwards. I don't approve her way of living life. Having regrets just makes you sadder and lonelier. Plus, she was mad at Chris for something that wasn't even his fault, and its just stupid to make one feel like he really did everything wrong.Adrian and Leo were definitely my favorite characters. Adrian is just so easy to talk to and gives good advice, Leo is just easygoing and funny. All summed up, this book was alright. The cover it's very beautiful and hot, with that sexy male model and his grin. Plus, I like how Coco Cadence writes, it's not boring or 'heavy' at all, this book is very enjoyable and I was very surprised to know that someone found it ugly on Goodreads, I'm sorry for that, but I already told you, I'm happy I read it cause I kind of liked it a lot and it's worth it. If you want an easy read, cute-pretty and slightly taboo, this book does it for you. It's not very long so if you enjoy tose kind of books it's perfect.Youtube PlaylistLINKS: AMAZON - AUTHOR'S SITEIf you're going to read it, write me a comment and afterwards tell me what you think about it, I'm curious if you enjoyed it as much as I had: on OffLimitsBlackRose.xoxo, offlimitsblackrose.

This is a subject matter that has exploded in the last year and there have been a plethora of likeminded titles that have hit the kindle all bidding for attention. Well this is one that you should push to the top of your TBR pile, it is a great read. The story undulates between the past and the present and manages to give much need history to the main characters. I liked the fact that we got details, often the little things are overlooked, but in this we got to see what had gone on with them before and what had turned the tide for them both.Emily and Chris go way back, they have a running almost love hate relationship that goes all the way back to when they were in school. But it doesn’t stay there… we are years down the line and they still have a chemistry that isn’t entirely sure which side of the fence it wants to settle on.But Emily isn’t one to let things go, she can hold a grudge like a pro, honestly woman give it up!!!So once we get caught up on the shenanigans of the past we get to see the here and now, they’re all grown up, both working – Chris has made it as a Motorcross rider and Emily, well she is in PR.I had a feeling at this point that I knew where this was headed but I wasn’t exactly sure how the man that loved only one thing between his legs more than his bike… and that being a never ending stream of women was going to get her on his team?So when his public persona needs a serious do over – there is only one woman up to the job and he will use every trick in the book to get her back on side.Emily, well I liked her for the most part but I didn’t like the fact that she was prepared to hang on to the grudge that was eating away at her because to be honest I really don’t think she had a clue why she was still angry at him, heck it could have been one of a million different mistakes he made, or maybe it was eventually all just one big blur but she spent so long with the hump over what happened years ago, she was only hurting herself.Chris on the other hand, I could have listened to him all day, he was so funny, be prepared to laugh out loud at him. I loved his honesty, the fact that he was willing to show Emily that he could change and that the only reason he was willing to change was for her, she meant that much too him.But what neither of them could deny... at least not to themselves, was the fact that they still loved each other. The banter between the two of them was hilarious at time, it was honest and I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of the story. I also enjoyed the chemistry that they shared, it was electrifying but the whole story was littered with twists and turns. Unexpected incidents and one moment on particular that will knock your socks off!!

This step-sibling romance is the story of Motocross racer Chris King and his PR rep step-sister Emily. It’s actually a story of second chance love because Chris and Emily have a history that starts before they were ever step-siblings. Told via both Chris and Emily’s first person POVs, the story alternates between the present and their teenage years to reveal the back story of their relationship—their complicated relationship. I enjoyed their back story quite a bit. There were places where it could have been executed a little deeper or more fully, but overall it does add depth to their characters. It also provides a few twists along the way that kept the story entertaining. I have to say, my first impression of Chris didn’t put him on any book boyfriend lists for me. The reader is introduced to him on the verge of getting a blow job just before a race. Inwardly I groaned, and not for the same reasons he might have been groaning. I’m not really sure when this type of introduction to the H became romantic, but it turned me off. And the girl he’s with…well she’s pretty eye roll worthy. On top of that Chris refers to himself as a whore and says he likes to “bang.” Immature was a fitting adjective to describe him in the beginning. Emily, on the other hand, I liked her spunk right off the bat. She did her best to cope with him, and she wasn’t a doormat. Thankfully, Chris pulls his head out of his ass and steps up his game. He definitely grows as a character, wanting to become a better person, and becomes pretty likable by the end. There’s some cute banter between them: “‛I have a Kit Kat in my desk.’”—Emily“‛I have a Milky Way in my pants.’” —ChrisAnd then things heat up to some super sexy descriptive scenes. These two were definitely on fire together. “‛You coming or do you want me to pull out my Milky Way to make you come?’” —ChrisWhile this actually started out as more of a 3 star rating for me (see immature man-whore issues above), as it progressed it picked up and I was rooting for them to be together. Their history actually helped a lot, softening his rough edges a bit, and I gave Chris major points for ditching his promiscuous ways and becoming a one-woman man, the woman he truly cared about all along. Bastard is a stand-alone, HEA. Chris’s one brother is featured in a previous trilogy entitled Possessed. There is a scene or two where his brother’s story seems to be referenced. *ARC recieved in exchange for an honest review/Release Blitz on 9/16

Another good Step Brother story to add to my list. I love reading books on this taboo subject and the author put another new original twist on the step brother romance that I think would be quite hard now with this genre being very popular. I liked how the journey with Emily and Chris started back when they were in school and that it's now years later. The flash backs of Emily and Chris in school were great and key to the story. The author managed to make the story from past and present flow very well. There was a lot of information given about the past and how the couple met and what happened to make Emily hate Chris and hold a grudge for years after. Both have great jobs now. Chris is a Motocross Racer and Emily is a PR Agent.Chris is the biggest man whore EVER!!!! He loves to find woman when he's racing and have one night stands. It never goes further than that though. Chris life isn't picture perfect and he needs his reputation to be cleaned up, so he ends up using dirty tactics to get Emily to help him, but he also has a alter motive too...he wants Emily back!Emily is a really sweet woman, but she's feisty and holds a massive grudge. This has been going on since school and it's almost like Emily's forgotten why she first was hurt as there has been so many reasons over the years to end up hating Chris too. The trouble is with Emily, no matter how hard she fights it and fights working for Chris, she still loves him. The chemistry between the two is massive, but Emily won't give in to Chris despite how she feels. The back and forth and angst was great to read about. There was some really funny times throughout the book with them fighting and the banter they had flowed brilliantly. There was also twists and turns, but there was a jaw dropping moment to that I never saw coming. Although Chris was a rich, cocky man whore, I loved him. His character was brilliant and I couldn't stop laughing at almost everything he says. He does have a softer side though and is willing to change....for Emily.I loved the love/hate relationship the couple had throughout. There characters were developed well and the plot was really interesting.I'd defiantly recommend this book if you love Step Brother stories. 4 Stars Sent from my iPad

Coco Cadence has written another seriously hot novel with Bastard. This stepbrother romance forces Emily and Chris to spend a lot of time together, much to Emily’s disdain and Chris’ enjoyment. Chris is an alpha in every way, he’s cocky, possessive, and relentless in his pursuit of Emily, leaving me to experience a variety of emotions at the hands of this character. One minute I wanted to throttle him and the next I was swooning. Chris was all for giving into his primal needs, claiming his stepsister for himself. Emily, on the other hand, preferred keeping as many walls between her and Chris as possible, afraid of the feelings he evoked and fearful of the repercussions a relationship with him would bring. It was a lot of fun to watch Chris break down this strong, stubborn woman as the story progressed, pushing her outside of her comfort zone and making her feel. The chemistry between Chris and Emily sizzled off the pages, depicting their connection as positively undeniable. Chris and Emily’s situation is complicated. As the story unfolded and I got to understand the dynamics of their familial relationship, the stepbrother factor pretty much disappeared from my mind. I was actually really amused by their family’s reaction to finding out that there might have been something more happening between this couple. I enjoyed Coco Cadence’s twist on the storyline, making Emily work for Chris and manage the part of his life that would be most likely to suffer if their feelings were exposed. There were several moments of this story where I was blindsided by unexpected moments of emotion, giving Bastard an added depth. Coco Cadence writes with spine-tingling detail, quick wit, and great humor, producing a book that is engaging and entertaining. Bastard will have you laughing, get your blood pumping, and make you want to throw things all at once. Coco Cadence’s unique voice tells this story with a sense of ease, delivering a lighthearted read that is great for fans of stepbrother romance.

This is the first book I read by Coco Cadence and I was very happy with what I read. This book is about 2 characters, Chris and Emily, that are step siblings but have a history.Chris is a motocross racer that has had his eye on Emily all the back into high school. He is so into this girl that in high school he even comes up with a plan to have her tutor him.Emily is in PR and has also always had a thing for Chris. She is smart and beautiful and Chris cannot take his eyes off of her. One tutoring night things get steamy and the next day it all around school what happened between the two of them. Emily of course is furious for Chris going and blabbing his mouth about their special night together. With Chris apologizing profusely he finally decides to sneak into her room to beg for forgiveness. As he is begging Emily's father enters the room with news and behind him is Chris's mother. The news...they're getting married.Fast forward many years later and Chris's mother wants Emily to become Chris's new PR manager. With the hatred that Emily feels for her step brother she is angry when she is assigned to him. Chris on the other hand is extremely happy with this. It just means more time he gets to spend with Emily. Why is Emily so angry with Chris? It can't just be from him talking about there night back in high school. Will Chris get his way and get Emily back? This book will make you laugh, cry, and will make you mad. I would definitely recommend this to my other avid readers. You will not be disappointed.Reviewing for Night and Day Book Blog. http://blog.ndbbr2014.com/

I found this book entertaining at times very funny with the King brothers. This is a story about Em and the Bastard himself Chris King. Chris King the jock fell for the cute nerdy girl Emily. The it was all she wrote. Except when he ruined her in high school and in life. Years later she is still holding on to that grudge. We see flash backs of what happens between them the good the bad and the straight up ugly! Tricia Chris's Mother she was having an on going affair with Em's father. Things happen that they could not predict and blame started to pointed out. One was scared for life and the other will never forgive themselves. Emily is a PR agent now and she is wanted for her services by not other then her stepbrother Chris King. Chris King is now a pro Motocross racer and a bad boy in the public eye with a bad reputation. His mother suggest that they hire his stepsister Em. Thing is he is ready to fight for her again her doing the job is just a cover up for his true intentions. He wants her back at all costs. Em refuses at first but, has no choice but to accept. She tries her best to not fall again to not fall into his games ever again. Will she be able to resist the badass play boy Chris King? Will Chris lose Emily again but, this time maybe for good? This book had a couple of OMG moments that just made my jaw drop. I wasn't expecting that to be the cause of the main problem. If only Tricia could have opened her mouth sooner they maybe would have gotten back together all on their own sooner. They are meant to be. This was some good writing I couldn't put it down. Even pulled an all nighter and re read before writing this review. Just wish their was more I'm not ready to let go of them yet.ARC was provided by author in exchange for an honest review.

I received a ARC from the author in exchange for a honest review.4* read. This is a stepbrother romance book which is actually my favourite taboo read. Only problem is the past few books in this genre that I've purchased I've actually hated and not enjoyed at all so I've been put off. This wasn't the case with this story, it was original and different and I really enjoyed it. My first read from this author but I will defiantly be purchasing more books in the future.I usually also don't enjoy books that go from past to present. I find it can be quite confusing and pointless if the author doesn't execute it well, but this the author wrote a well balanced book. The story seamlessly flowed from past to present and made the story so much better with that dynamic and depth. Chris and Emily are step siblings and have had feelings for each other for a long time so it was good to be able to see their past too as well as the present so you got more of an insight into them both. Now Chris is a motocross racer and a complete manwhore and bastard. He has such a bad reputation that he needs a PR to help him, luck has it that Emily works in PR so expect a lot of fireworks and sexual chemistry when these two work together.I have to admit at first Chris was no book boyfriend for me but by the end I fell in love with him and he won me over. Emily throughout this book was a strong character who took no shi* from anyone especially Chris and I love that in a female lead.I'm looking forward to purchasing more books from this author and I'm glad my taboo read has been restored after a few bad books in this genre that I've read recently.

This is the first book that I have read from Coco and I have to say that I liked it. I enjoyed it. It wasn’t like all the other step brother romances that I have read in the past. It had a great plot and a great story. And it was even a bit dirty in some places in the story. Its kind of a tragic love story once you read it you have so many feels during reading this book. If you want to feel sad and have a little ugly cry moment then read this book its cute yet sexy, sad yet happy. It was a great read and I’m glad I got a chance to review it. I know I will start reading more of her stuff in the future. Emily has had a bad past and she blames her step brother for it. She will never think she can forgive him for what he had done to her. She just wants him to leave her alone but when his mother drags her to one of his races he cant get her out of his mind. Emily likes Chris but she knows its wrong to act on it and she cant get over what he has done to her. Will she ever forgive him? Chris has always had a thing for Emily. She is the only girl he could never get over. He wants her and that means he will try anything to get her even make her his new PR agent. She doesn’t want to do it but she has no choice. Chris knows what he had done was horrible and he knows that she would never get over it but he has to try one last time to keep her for himself. He doesn't care that she is his step sister. Will he be forgiven? MORE ON BLOG

What a read!! Talk about some kind of sexy, yeah, that's definitely Chris!! Yet another stepbrother romance, this one did have a bit of a different element in that Chris is a motocross racer, and has just hired his former stepsister to be his publicist. Emily and Chris fell for one another pretty hard early on, and were blissfully happy, until the day that they discovered Chris's mother had fallen for, and gotten engaged to, Emily's father. Immediately their world shatters, as Emily refuses to ruin her fathers happiness in order to have her own, so she lets Chris go. However, soon after, she suffers a tragic loss and eventually ends up living with Chris's family, who take her in as their own. Emily wrongfully blames Chris for her pain, and ver the next several years, holds onto that pain and anger as a way to push him out of her life. However, Chris is a man who knows exactly who he wants, and that's his Em. He never gives up, and creates the perfect opportunity for them to be drawn back together as he finangles his way into hiring her PR firm to represent him. You can only imagine the chemistry with these two, as it is off the charts, and insane. So, when they finally come together again- it's explosive!! This was a quick read, and I wish there had have been more, as I would've loved more Chris!! 4 stars!!

Like the other books I've read by Coco Cadence I fell in love with this one as well. I could not put it down. Its not your typical stepbrother romance. At one point it is or was and they still constitute each other as "family" but i think that is what I loved so much about this book. Chris and Em have always had an intense relationship. Starting in high school but because of family issues they couldnt be together then Chris does the unthinkable and Em would never forgive him for what he did. Chris is a bastard through and through but hes always known what he wanted and that was Em. He tried using other girls to get her out of his head but that will only work for so long. Now as shes working side by side with him as his PR lady he is determined to do whatever he can to get under her skin as much as she is under his. But what Chris doesn't already know is that hes already under her skin she just chooses to try and ignore it. She doesn't want to want him. she doesn't want the feelings that she has when hes in close proximity to her. Can Emily let the past go and give Chris a chance or will she always hold on to it and push him away? This is a must read Stepbrother romance you wont be disappointed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4.5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is my first book by this author and I was quite impressed. Chris and Emily have a past, Emily is the only girl Chris has ever loved, when it was discovered his mum was tearing up his family and marrying Emily's dad, he felt his whole world was being torn apart. He turned into a manwhore, sleeping with anyone he could to try and forget the connection he had with Emily. As the years have passed and Chris gets himself into a PR nightmare, Emily isn't given much of a choice but to help him out of his latest scandals. There relationship feels forbidden, Chris has caused Emily so much heartache over the years, but she cannot deny what she feels for him. How will here family feel if they choose to pursue their taboo relationship?I have read many stepbrother books over the past few months, this one had such an emotional twist on it that it drew you in, you could feel the struggles Emily was facing and when you discovered the reason as to why she resented Chris so much you just needed to hug her. Chris was arrogant but the more you get to know him, hear of his past, I was so ready to bitch slap his mother. Look forward to reading other books by Coco Cadence

This is the first book that I've read by this author and it won't be the last...... this book is a Stepbrother romance....... Chris and Emily meet in High School and fall in love..... life takes a dramatic turn for both of them when Chris's mother and Emily's father fall in love and decide to marry.... that makes Chris and Emily Step Brother and Step Sister and a romance between the two of them is now seen as Taboo..... Chris f*ck any girl so that he forgets about Emily, as she's the girl he isn't supposed to want.... but she is.... Emily hate him for what he has done and ruined her life....... Chris is now a Motocross racer, a winner, a player and a bastard. He has a very bad reputation and which leads to bad press..... he needs a PR Agent to help him and lucky for him Emily works in PR.... Chris thinks that if he can get her to come and work for him he will then be able to make her remember what that once had together.....Will Emily want to work for Chris?????? If she does how will she handle it???? Can Chris make her fall for him again????? This book is a stand alone and comes with a HEA and no cliff hanger.... I received an ARC from the Author for an honest review.....

WOW! I absolutely have fallen in love with this book. This is not your typical step brother romance book. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what if Chris could get Em to forgive him for what he did in the past. What he did is what most of would find as unforgivable. She believes he ruined her life and she hates him but at the same time she wants him. She hates the fact that she does and tries to avoid it at all costs. Chris on the other hand has loved her since they were together back in high school and hasn't stopped. He has done everything in his power to try to forget but hasn't been successful and has now given up on trying. Now he is fighting to get her to love him again and to make up for his mistake. Will Chris be able to get Em to give him another chance? Will he be able to stop his running around with others? Will Em be able to forgive him for his mistake when they were kids? What happens when Em finds out the truth about the past?Do not miss out on this book! This book has officially jumped to the top of my all time favorite step brother romance books.I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Coco Cadence is another new author to me that I recently had the pleasure of reading, and I really enjoyed this book. Chris and Emily fell in love when they were teenagers. After his mom married her dad, there relationship ended, as they became step siblings. Five years later, Chris is a motorcross racer and manwhore. In the back of his head, however, he's trying to prove he's worthy of Emily's love since he's never gotten over her. She has hated him all this time for ruining her life, but she too, still has unresolved feelings so she stays away from him. This changes when he forces her hand to be his PR rep. Can Em get past her anger to give Chris a second chance?Coco Cadence wrote a great story. Character development was great, and although Chris infuriated me at times, he was panty melting yummy! I really loved the different take on the "taboo" stepbrother storyline, and it flowed smoothly. The fact that Chris made mistakes while trying to get Emily back, made it realistic for me. Humor thrown in, made me laugh hard, and the sexy scenes were HOT! Great read and I HIGHLY recommend!

Freaking WOW!....Could there have been any more twists or surprises? I am just floored, this is such a deep, emotional, and sinfully erotic story. Emily and Chris both are so true to life, so well developed that I felt like I knew them personally.... Emily works for a PR firm. Chris King is in desperate need of her services, but not just to clean up the mess that is his public image, he wants,... no, he needs her in his bed, or anywhere eles he can have her. These two have a history, and it's not very pretty. It goes all the back to high school. That's where he ruined her life. That's why she hates him. He is determined to get her forgivness. She belongs to him and it's about time she knew it.... This story moves along at a smooth pace, things are happening constantly. The sexual scenes are graphic and sinfully delicious.... Emily is forced to face her true feelings when the unthinkable happens and Chris is rushed to the hospital.....and we have a few cameo appearances from other family members, one of whom tells Emily something that changes everything.... This is a stand alone, but you can meet the rest of this family in THE POSSESSED SERIES. I do recommend this to 18+ readers

Definitely hot.Emily can't forgive him. She hates him. Chris King has to be in her life, because of family, but he can do it from a distance. She has made it on her own and she has the job she wants. Now if she can just keep him away.Chris king is not a nice man. He is a b*****d. In his motocross career he is a winner. Women like the way he looks and he knows it. He's left a string of girls behind him and don't apologize for it. There's only one he wants and she is off limits. He is determined. One way or another he will make her forgive him and want him again. Bastard is definitely erotic. It is fun, light, and a quick read. This is the first time I have read a book by this author and some of the scenes are sizzling hot and the sexual tension between Emily and Chris was beyond words. Somehow I just did not connect with the characters. The characters were well thought out I just didn't connect. The banter between the characters was light hearted and comical at times. It was a fair read for me.

Worst book EVER.Ok, let's see.1. The guy is a bastard.2. The guy is a bastard with a big cock. (don't forget this, it's very important.)3. The guy is a bastard with a big cock, and he drives a motorcycle. (Therefore, he's a famous bastard)4. The famous bastard with the big cock is a playboy.5. The famous bastard who's a playboy and has a big cock, is in love with his stepsister.6. The stepsister is an idiot.7. The idiot stepsister hates the famous bastard with the big cock.7. Although the idiot sister hates the famous bastard, that doesn't stop her from fucking him.8. Tons and tons of unneccesary drama.9. It's revealed that the famous bastard made the idiot stepsister's dad commit suicide.10. They overcome that and live happily ever after, as the pair of morons they are. Fucking and fucking 'cause the bastard has a really, really big cock.

Wow, just wow. These two, Emily and Chris have been together when they were 16 and lasted until Chris found out his mother left his father for Emily's father but that still didn't stop these two from being together but what did was when Chris aired out his feeling about his mother, her father and his deep feeling for Emily to her father at school that was accidentally announced over the loud speaker for the whole school to hear. Also that the kicker for her dad to finally swallow the pills that left Emily parentless. Years later she still blames Chris for killing her father and don't see an end to forgive him. Until Chris see Emily in the stands of his race (motorcycle race) that his man whoring days are over and he will do anything to get his girl back into his arms. There were throughout this story going back to when they first got together to present day to see what happened when they dreamed back to those days and where everything got tossed aside. Three will be times that you will feel for Emily's pain and anger or what the pain Chris felt for his cheating mother.

3.5 stars!Good, quick, steamy read!Chris is a cocky, gorgeous, jerk. He is alpha jock in a sense. He meets Emily is supposed to help tutor him. There is undeniable sizzle between the total opposites; he's the jock, she's the nerd. When they finally relent to each other chaos ensues. She gets labeled and he suddenly is becoming her stepbrother. He is set to keep her, but she pushes him away due to the fact that they are now family.Anger makes her distance themselves until her step mother gets involved asking Emily to be his PR rep. Chris is set on winning her back for life and is willing to go at her pace.Brick by brick he brings her walls down, repeatedly, and she just as quickly builds them back up.Until tragedy strikes again... Can these two move on from their past? Can they work outside the stigma of being a "family"?Go one click to find out!

In the genre of stepbrother romances, this is one of the best ones I have read. Chris and Emily fell in love in high school and everything looked promising until their parents also fell in love thus making them step-siblings and ending their romance. Years later Chris has tried to get Emily out of his mind and heart by being with every woman he can find. Nothing serious and no promises. That is until Chris needs someone to clean up his life in the tabloids and Emily is the perfect person for the job. She becomes his new PR person and Chris begins his plan to win her heart regardless of how the family thinks. This was a great book and even though Chris is portrayed as the bad boy his feelings for Emily were true and genuine. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to everyone.
