4 KICKASS STARSThis is a story of a King and Queen, a love, a marriage, a lie, a misunderstanding, redemptions and revenge. It's starts when the hero's King Shane banishment of his new Queen Rhiannon. He is given evidence that his new Queen has been untrue with another. He wastes no time sending her back to her father. She tries to talk to him about it and wants to know why? Of course he is so betrayed and hurt he will not hear her out. Until his mother explains the situation and he is on a Quest to win back his estranged wife. Of course at this point she is confused and heartbroken! He MUST win her love back, he tells her: "Whatever hurt was caused I will fix it, I will get to the bottom of it and deal with the ones responsible but I will not leave here without you." And he even makes his apologies:"I'm sorry I doubted you, I'm sorry I set you aside but I will not let you go. You are mine for now and always no one else shall have what's mine, never. However, for Rhiannon, was too late! She was NOT going to trust blindly in him anymore. He had humiliated her in front of the whole Castle and she was not going to forgive and forget that with just a one line explanation. She wanted answers and she needed the truth! She offers to him:"My father is going to have the union annulled at my request, the church will allow this since we've never consummated our vows." So on top of everything the King had still not claimed his wife. He had been to busy with the treat of War and dealing with his subjects to do the whole "I love you and want you!"Now, was the time to act! He was done being a gentlemen! He wants her and he wants her NOW!He was going to fix this oversight and make her is his true Queen, the Queen of his Heart. This story had it all and I loved it!It's an fantastically HOT story set in history complete with sword play by the heroine that I found EPIC!Safety is perfect with nothing! No triggers no cheating, no violence, no OW/OM, PERFECT!Sorry guys for the really cheesy review here but this book is just that kind of book! You know the kind that makes you feel all soft inside. Just a sweet read!

It has been so long since I've read a historical romance. I didn't even realize Jordan Silver had this out. How I missed it, I'm not sure. I don't mind a "jerk" hero as long as he redeems himself in the end. I felt Shane knew he was wrong and groveled sufficiently. Rhiannon gave him a run for his money though. She was hurt and embarrassed, so I didn't blame her. The pushing away did go on a little long in my opinion. -hot sex scenes -pushing away by heroine -no cheating -no om drama-ow drama - there was a woman who caused this whole misunderstanding but Shane had never been with her in any way. -ok epilogue - not very far out though

The first attempt that I have read by Jordan that's somewhat historical. It was good. I liked the fact that we didn't have the deal with the betrayal etc but moreso the event afterwards which I found more enjoyable. It was simple short and sweet. I would have enjoyed it more if it was drawn out, but that said it wasn't 24 pages more like over 100 so there was enough I could savor the book.Love me some Jordan Silver and really enjoying her later works, in my opinion she is maturing her writing style. So theres gonna be old school fans who will hate it, new fans that will love it. And semi new fans like me who is willing to grow with her.

I love that Silver is branching out into new terrain. This book was okay. If Jordan's name wasn't on it, I wouldn't have had a clue it was hers. If you'd like to read the softer side of Jordan Silver, this book is for you.

3.5 stars. This was a quick, historical romance read with good grovel and sexy times, and a side of cheesy goodness.

What was that? Not one of Jordans best works. Majority of the book was inner dialogue and narration, which is somewhat common in Jordans work, but majority of the time the dialogue is funny, dirty, hot, in this book not so much. I gave it 2 stars because at least the sex was still hot, otherwise it would have gotten one. O and it was free under kindle Unlimited.

I actually enjoyed this heroine she had spunk and wouldn’t back down from Hero. Also she kicked ass when she beheaded the wench.

I read this quite a while ago and just completely forgot about it. Saw it again here in GR and decided to reread it and now I know why this was so forgettable (JS is one of my guilty pleasures). I basically just laughed all throughout reading this. No one - absolutely NO ONE - writes OTT insta love borderline crazy and trigger inducing heroes like Jordan Silver. She gives you your dirty fantasies of dominating men with big dicks. That's 100% true and I love her because, granted she does need editing, but she has some talent. But JS does not have talent in writing historical romances. None. The type of men JS is known for, simply does not fit in any medieval or historical setting and frankly speaking she knows jack shit about historical etiquette and speech. I still enjoyed this because I enjoy all of JS books. Her books are definitely not for everyone and if you are new to her and want to try something of hers do not read this book. Read her better ones. Try out Talon's Heart (which for me is one of her best and also safest books). Do not bother with this book. I love JS but I admit I'm better off forgetting this one.

Not the best book I've ever read ( I'm not even sure I'd call it a good book, honestly...there's seemed more sex than plot, IMO), and overall it was pretty predictable, but there's something addicting about JS's writing style, so even with the terrible editing, I'd still give this, between 2.5 and 3 stars. And just as an FYI:, I'm in the middle of two other JS titles, and it seems that they're all written with the same formula IMO... So me thinks you really only need to read one, to see if this author is for you...but I strongly suggest you read an excerpt if you can before buying JS titles, as they are definitely not for everyone!

Well this was like taking a regular Jordan Silver tale and putting it in a castle with some thees and thous thrown in. It was a fun read but didn't really feel like a historical romance in any way. Still, I enjoyed it. Shane believes the lies of the OW-wannabe and hurts Rhia without even letting her tell her side. So he spends the rest of the book making up for it. I looooove a good grovel ; )Rhia is one of the authors kick-ass heroines instead of one of the spineless shy ones.

OkOkI was a little disappointed, had great potential but I found it lacking. This story seemed a little boring for a jordan silver book. I didn't feel like we got much insight into the character's feelings. I also didn't feel l I keep the hero was a big bad alpha. I've become a true Jordan Silver fan and must read all of them but I don't think I will re-read this one like I do all the others.

Not her usual styleGreat book. I loved the change in style, but still a Silver book. This was a great read. I truly enjoyed reading this one. I wasn't sure at first, but I was hooked before the end of the first chapter.

I really enjoyed this. I hadn't known what to expect as this isn't my usual type of read but I found that I liked it a lot. Rhiannon was feisty, stubborn and fierce. I loved that she held her own with the King and everyone else. Great ending.

This was a quick historical read. An easy read to pass the time with. When your in the mood for something light, that wraps up quickly with an HEA.
