Review for Love and Blood By: Jessica Gibson First off, this book was more amazing that expected. It had everything you look for in a book, a great character build, an awesome storyline, action, intensity, lust, and love. There was an amazing growth in character and many decisions to be made. This story grabs you by the gut and you are wondering who will she choose? Will it be the right choice? Will she regret it in the end? I can’t wait for the next book to come out! I have so many unanswered questions. To say this book was great is by far an understatement. This book was beyond amazing and I hope to read more of Jessica Gibson’s books.Bronwyn – Such a beautiful name, love it! She was a little “sluttish” just saying, she had great things to overcome and I love the building of her character. She made some crappy choices and I hope in book two we will see where that takes us.Rider – Oh hot dang! LOL This guy was the perfect one, no matter what he is so great and believe me when I say I am usually the bad guy type with books. He is by far the best character build I have read in a while. All I can say is he is a definite keeper.<3Ronan- Oh God…This guy is a douche, sorry but true. At times I could punch him for being too cocky. He is a great character but not the bad boy I look for. Maybe he will grow on me, but we will see. He needs some serious help. He is a great guy when around Bronwyn and hopefully he will change for her, I did say “hopefully” didn’t I?

I really enjoyed reading Love and Blood, there was constant drama in each turn of the page, I love the different paranormal and fantasy species in the story. However, Vamps always seem to be my fave.Bronwyn has been in hiding from her ex lover for many years now, however he has caught up with her and is not about to let her go again. Bronwyn's feelings for Ronan has resurfaced but she has moved on and is with another, now she is faced with a choice of not only who she wants to be with but what kind of Vampire she wants to be.As if that wasn't enough long friend, Tucker is returned to town after being gone for so long, but he has come to find the person responsible for murdering his mother and a battle is about to begin. The only thing about Love and Blood that kind of has me reserved was I wanted more information. More about Bronwyn, Ronan and Ryder, more information about Tuck and Carly. I just wanted more, the book for me was too short. Jessica Gibson was on track with Love and Blood, I just craved more of it.

Well were do I begin . Couldn't wait to read this book . I do have a thing for vampires . Love how the story begins with the Irish Ronan ( I'm Irish) . Then Bronwyn beautiful sweet and gorgeous, meets Dark Irish stranger trusts him and gets whisked away . Vampires mate for life or do they ??? Add sexy Ryder into the equation . And life goes awol . Love how it jumps and love her moral standards. Not the average vampire !! She throws caution to the wind and turns everything upside down again . Will she choose sweet dependable Ryder or wild sexy Irish Ronan , can't wait for next in series so good ❤️

1.5Would it make sense if I said Jessica Gibson knows how to write, but apparently doesn't know how to write a book? I mean, mechanically the sentences flow fine. Grammatically the work is perfectly readable. But the story, oh fuck, the story is a damned mess. For one, let me ask how you feel about love triangles. I hate love triangles. This means that a book that is essentially stripped of all plot except a love triangle is not a good thing in my world. The first 50% of this book is absolutely nothing more than Ronan and Rider (yes, their names are that similar) fighting over Wyn and Wyn playing them both. Then at around 50% new characters are introduced and we're off to fight a werewolf war with a bunch of characters that didn't exist two pages earlier. What!? There is absolutely no development of ANYTHING in this book—no plot development, no character development, no world building, no romantic developments or character growth. Nothing. And new characters, that play no part in the book, are introduced all the way up to 85%. (The book ends at 92%, so lets just say up until the end.) Lastly, (I could rant on and on and on, but I'm going to limit myself here) this book is clearly labeled as book 1. I've even read the prequel, useless as it was. But if you handed me this book without a cover, my first question on finishing it would be, "Where are the first three books?" There is so much missing information that I would assume this was several books into a series. All the characters know one another and have 4 years of history. Then there is all of the Ronan drama (20 years worth) and the 'romance' with Rider (15 years worth), not to mention the werewolf drama (5 years worth). Heck on that last point, we never even learn the name of the woman they go to war over! Oh, and Fae are in there somewhere too. WTF!If you want to read an outline of a SERIES, feel free to pick this 'book' up. If you're interested in a book, with a solid, well-paced (or simply paced) story, avoid this thing like the plague. And I hate to say that, because I've rated books/authors with similar mechanical skill far higher than 1 star, but man oh man, this book (despite being more readable than some other indies) just doesn't cut it in the story department.

Favorite Line(s) “This is why I’m here, Wyn. I have never found this with another, in all of my years. You make me crazy; I can practically taste the lust dripping off of you as though it were blood.”“You need to wake up. You’re tearing yourself apart and you don't even know it.” She turned and faced Rider, next. “You need to walk away from this; he has already won. You and I both know it. You can delude yourself into thinking she’ll choose you; but she won’t”Man whata fabulously frustrating story! My heart breaks for Ryder, Seraph, and Carly! Bronwyn can't decide between Ryder and Ronan. She should totally pick Ryder. They may be Vampire but, Ronan is a crazy murdering of innocents! Watching Bronwyn change when ever Ronan was around was so heartbreaking! Then she picked Ryder and things were nice but, after a friend dies Bronwyn wants to pain to stop and goes with Ronan! So so sad! This author did amazing she made it all ring true! I felt like I was there it was amazing! I am dying to read next book!I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (RBTL)FIVE BLOODY FAIRIES

I loved this book. More than one should be able to love a book. I am usually not a fan of vampires.. BUT... this book is different. The plot and story line flowed very well and there was just the right amount of detail without going overboard. Bronwyn is a young girl, who is turned by a Vampire that is a few centuries old, Ronan. Things are going great between them, until they aren't. Bronwyn leaves Ronan for her own reasons. During their journey, you will meet the most interesting people, other vampires, fae, and even wolves! There is so much going on in this book, that you will not be able to put it down until you are down. I stayed up later then I will care to admit so I could finish this book.

What can I say but I freaking love this series! You get love, lust, intense scenes, all around action packed in a great read. Having read the Prequel, Blood Lust, it was awesome to get the back story in Love and Blood and you really get to know Ronan. He isn't some pig-headed possessive vampire. Ok...maybe he is but he means well =)Will Bronwyn stay away from him or is he too much for her to handle? Jessi did such an outstanding job with Love and Blood that I can't wait to find out what happens next! What will Bronwyn do next?

**::REVIEW FOR NEW VERSION::** When I heard this book was getting a rewrite and makeover, I was super stoked. I had liked the original copy and knew that it would only get better! The characters are still as amazing as before but now we have a deeper understanding of them. It's dark and edgy and had me questioning myself on multiple occasions. Ronan is so bad it's almost good to love him. His 'love' is shown in ways you would never dream of and if you are counting on a fairytale type love, as Bronwyn does, it's easy to dismiss his lack of gooey sentiment. He shows his love where in counts to him most; in the blood. For vampires, and especially old ones, the blood is life. Rider gives Bronwyn what her head feels likes she wants. Humanity. Pieces of it anyway. He is there at every turn to provide that fairytale feeling. Only, Bronwyn has to decide if that is actually what she desires or if that's just what she thinks she needs to feel 'human'. I say, humanity is overrated! LOL. The secondary characters are so easy to love in this book and we get to delve into other supernatural like fae and wolves. They aren't to be dismissed because they have a whole plot going on within their own ranks. Blended well within the story and equally as capturing. Loved the rewrite. -ORIGINAL REVIEW- With such an amazing start with the prequel Blood Lust, I just knew I was going to enjoy Love and Blood. I was not disappointed. My fear had been that maybe she would tone down the gory glad she didn't. I loved the set of characters, in each one I found a characteristic that made me like them. Though some also held ones that I didn't like. Ronan, the star of the prequel finally found what he was searching for, Bronwyn. The emotional connection between these two was so strong I was seriously doubting anything could cut it. She had been on the run from him for years. Now, he found her and she will have to fight with everything she has to get away...again. Her trouble with Ronan was never her feelings for him, it was always his actions. A true vampire he holds no feelings toward the humans and sees no distinction between innocent and......not. Rider is the good to Ronan's evil. Wanting nothing more than for Bronwyn to choose him he bends over backwards and sideways for her. He is the right choice, the good one, the one that can help balance her out and help her maintain some of her humanity. She has feelings for him, not an ounce of what she feels for Ronan if you ask me. I think Rider is her favorite form of denial, she denies that Ronan is her match and has Rider as her go to. Seraph, our wonderful Fae, she is a force to be reckoned with let me tell ya. The first time she got mad I felt like I should be hiding myself. I wanted to know more about her and the Fae, it wasn't something we got to learn about this book. Possibly in later installments. Carly, Brock and Tucker are our wolves....epps, can't have the vamps without wolves, eh? There is a whole other sub plot happening within the ranks for the wolves. Some very interesting happenings going on here and a possible battle to follow. There is some serious heartache surrounding these three and had me a sobbing mess. I look forward to reading more about these characters. Love and Blood was a win for me. A short quick read full of romance, action and of course some gore. I look forward to reading the next installment. **I was given this book in exchange for an honest review**

This book for me started out a little bit slow. But it does pick up a bit of interest and did in fact keep me turning the pages. This is the first book in the Blood Ties Series. I can say that while I did enjoy it, and I will recommend it to others. It wasn't by far my favorite vampire book. Let me explain why. First of all the ENTIRE book is about love Triangles. Now for some that may be a grabber. But for me it was actually a *big sigh here* bit over done. In the first love triangle we have Bronwyn, who is in love with both Ronan and Rider. As if this love triangle isn't bad enough we have another when we meet up with the werewolves (Carly, Tucker and Brock). I'll leave them out so as to not spoil the story, but two love triangles in one book is a bit over the top for my tastes.Secondly the story moves along at a fairly rapid pace but for me I never really got into any of the characters. I didn't understand Seraph and her involvement with Bronwyn. I also didn't really understand how the werewolves and vampires were enemies yet Carly and Bronwyn were best friends. There is a lot of back story that is missing and makes it difficult to understand and follow the story. As for the love story itself. It was the oh so typical, I'm in love with a knight in shining armor (Rider) and an evil bad boy who is so wrong for me (Ronan), but rather than fall for the good guy I'm going to fall for the psycho twisted killer Ronan. Yep makes a lot of sense to me. All in all it was a decent enough story a little jumpy at times and difficult to follow but I did enjoy it and seemed to get more into the story itself in the second half of the book. I have to give this book a 3.5 to 4 stars because of that first half of the book. I can say if you like shorter stories you will enjoy this one. And I think that the author is on the right track and will only get better in future novels in this series. I will read the next book in the series because I am curious as to what is going to happen with Bronwyn.*Details/Disclaimer: Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

This was my first Jessica Gibson book after I had been talking to her months beforehand! I have no idea why I haven't read her books yet even though I have them all on my Kindle! I was also between 4 and 5 stars for it but I had to give it 4 stars for who the main character picked to be with at the end! This book had vampires in it which is enough to put me off reading it to be honest as vampire books these days are cliche or too extreme for my liking but Love and Blood was quite different to what I was expecting! There were other supernatural creatures like Fae and Werewolves in this book as well and they brought so much to the story! This book was pretty short compared to some other books that I have read so I managed to read it all in the one sitting! The plot was pretty dark! It was also pretty gory but I loved that Jessica didn't hold back with the gore and that she made it real! The characters were great! Bronwyn 'Wyn' was the main character and I really liked her! I didn't that she was sort of running from guy to guy but I can understand that she had feelings for both of them! The love triangle was between Wyn, Rider and Ronan! I was Team Rider the whole way through this book and I will probably continue being so! Ronan and Rider were very different characters but they both had feelings for Wyn! I thought that Ronan overreacted at several points in this book which was another reason why I was Team Rider! Rider was sort of the quiet, good guy who wanted the best for Wyn and I think that his feelings were more real compared to Ronan's feelings towards her! I will definitely be reading the next book in this series and I am looking forward to doing so! I also love the cover! Big thank you to Jessica for providing me with a copy of Love and Blood and also to her and Amber for having me on the Blog Tour!

I have read several books by Jessica Gibson at this point. Normally I would rate her books at least a 4 out of 5, but I really felt like I was missing a lot of information in this one. Of course, I totally forgot that while this is book one in the series, she did go back to write a prequel. Probably if I had read that one first, I might not feel the way I do about this one. I just felt like I needed more history about why Bronwyn was running from Ronan through this book and why she was with Rider. All three of them are vampires. Ronan is Bronwyn's sire. She had been completely in love with him until one day she met Rider and ran away with him. That's pretty much all you know until this story starts fifteen years later. This book is all about Bronwyn trying to decide between Rider and Ronan, two men she is completely in love with but she finds herself sharing her bed with both of them (not at the same exact time). She picks one man. She tells the other to leave, but he refuses. His constant vigilance gives her reason to believe that maybe he really does love her.In the midst of her trying to pick one man, her friend Carly, a werewolf, ends up needing help with her own male problems. Bronwyn and Rider end up coming to the aid of a group of werewolves as the pack fights among themselves in a dominance/justice battle. This part of the story really felt like it could have been fleshed out into another book. I guess it just seemed a little out of place even if it's result is what determined the decision that Bronwyn ultimately would make.Read more reviews at Identity Discovery Blog.

Bronwyn has been on the run from her maker for the last 15 years and has made a life for herself along with her friend Sheraphina and Rider whom saved her from her life with Ronan. Rider is everything she could ever want in a man, one who loves her endlessly and will put aside any of her discretions. The thing is Bronwyn still loves Ronan even though there are parts of him she can not stand.Ronan has come back in her life to bring her back to him but Bronwyn struggles to stand her ground against him and to claim her love for Rider. The story is full of twists in this little love triangle between Bronwyn, Rider and Ronan. She loves both men for different reasons and she struggles to keep with her choice of Rider.I loved this story but then again who doesn’t love a good vampire romance right? Oh and did I mention there is a touch of fae and werewolf in there as well?? Nope, well guess what? There is LOL Bronwyn is a vampire who feels guilty for killing innocents thus goes after predators or people who she senses are just bad. Ronan is the total opposite and brings out the “bad” in her where Rider keeps her ground. I did question whether or not she really did love Ronan or was it because he was her maker (you know you’ve read about the bound between a maker and their “child” at least once or twice before ;) ) will leadDefinitely reading on with “Blood and Sacrifice” too see where this crazy world wind of Bronwyn’s life

Barely a 3 star. This is a fast-paced story filled with love, blood, hatred, murder, vampires, wolves and Fae.Bronwyn is in the worst position ever. The man who made her is a psychopath, a coldhearted murder of innocent, and also a man she loves deeply. On the other side is Rider, the man who got her away from Ronan (her maker) in the first place. Steady as a rock, her safe heaven, a true friend and captive of Bronwyn’s heart too.In the middle; Bronwyn. Desperately clinging to her humanity, only killing the bad guys, and a girl who just wants to make sense of her own emotions and what she really is.Throw in a war in the neighbor werewolf pack, people pushing her to make the right decision and Bronwyn’s BFF’s own guy-problem… and you’ll have a combustible mix.I enjoyed this read, although I did find it too fast-paced from time to time. Bronwyn just can’t make up her mind, she KNOWS who the best choice is for her, but when it comes to the heart, is there really a choice? There were times where I really just wanted to grab Bronwyn and give her a good shake, other times my heart cried out for her, because the things she goes through…I’m really curious about where Jessica will take Bronwyn next, because the book did NOT end the way I thought it would. It’s a quick read, with good things going, there were a few things I would have liked to see different, but that has something to do with the personalities and their choices, not the writing. :-)

3 Stars for Love & Blood by Jessica Gibson. Bronwyn is a woman who was changed into a vampire pretty early in the book. Later, she struggles between the affection of two vampires, her maker (Ronan) and her friend (Rider). She is also friends with weres and fairies. So, that probably seemed to be a pretty short synopsis, but that was pretty much the book. Bronwyn was turned in the beginning and the remainder of the book was her sleeping and fighting with/off two men. Only towards the end do we see any "deep" drama (werewolf pack fighting). I wanted to love this book... I did... but the plot was superficial and lacked any depth in it. Bronwyn wasn't a bad character, but I couldn't connect with her. She was weak and flaky, jumping between two men (and sleeping with both). The other characters were okay, but again, I couldn't relate. I felt like the entire book revolved around Bronwyn jumping between two men, Rider begging for her to choose him and her Fae friend giving her shit about it. The dialogue and story seemed like one big circle. The author's writing is good and the storyline isn't horrible, but it just wasn't for me. I did decide to give the second book a chance in hopes of the series getting better.

I liked this book. It took a little bit but once it got going I truly couldn't put it down. Jessica Gibson left me in shock at the end of the book. I could not believe it and I am so anxious to read the next book Blood and Sacrifice to find out what happens next. Bronwyn Fitzgibbons is a vampire turned by Ronan. Ronan embodies the true vampire. Killing without remorse, handsome and alluring. The only problem for Bronwyn is that she still has her feelings of humanity and killing innocents is not okay with her. She leaves Ronan and forms a bond with the sexy Rider and a fae named Seraph, but Ronan won't let her go and she's not sure she wants him to. I fell head over heels for Rider. He is dreamy! He's a vampire, but he chooses to only drink blood from detestable criminals. He is loving, strong and did I mention sexy? Rider can throw me over his shoulder any day!I love the mix of paranormal creatures in Jessica's books. Vampires, fae and wolves. I found myself crying during one point in the book and couldn't believe how attached I was to these supernatural characters.Love and Blood is a good start to what I think will be an awesome series!

3.5 stars. Review to come, book tour! I struggled with writing a review for this one. I felt like I was either going to rant or rave or maybe both and that would just be confusing! It's hard to write a review for a book you enjoyed and yet you wanted to strangle the main character. And I did. I really wanted to strangle Bronwyn. I disagreed with her choices, I was annoyed at her for how she was treating Rider, I was incensed that she slept with Ronan, whom she had run away from 15 years before, I just really disliked her. And yet...I read on because it was good! I wish I had more background information as to what lead her to run from Ronan and into Rider's arms. At first it sounded like she was a prisoner of Ronan's, and then it seems like it's just because she can't deal with the fact that he likes to eat innocents as opposed to people who deserve to die. I liked her friend Carly and felt sooooooooo bad for her. There is a wealth of potential stories in this world that would be amazing to have fleshed out! While I wasn't totally happy with this book, at the end I was so happy that I already have a reviewer's copy of "Blood and Sacrifice". And now I get to go on and read that! :)

This book is an interesting read that I struggled with as far as deciding upon how to rate it. Although I found the story line intriguing, I must admit that overall, I didn't truly care for the main character in this installment. Bronwyn seems very fickle and seems, honestly, fairly slutty. She's in love with two different vampires, and although she makes her choice, she doesn't follow through with that choice. She seemed overly weak, and it really made it hard for me to connect with her as a character. Her friends are what really made me enjoy this book. The war with the pack, as well as their fae and vamp friends was interesting. I feel that although I may not have had the best first impression of this character, that perhaps there's a reason for that later on. This book is fairly short, so I could see that her disposition to be weak is used later on in the plot to further the story.I will be reading the next installment to fully decide upon whether or not this is a series that I will truly enjoy.

I have mixed feelings about this book. When I started reading it, I thought it was going to be a typical love triangle between Bronwyn, Rider and Ronan. The plot was moving too fast, the characters seemed poorly developed, I felt there was background missing. I think there should be a bit more story building. After all, there is a gap of twenty years between the first time we meet Bronwyn and the moment when the book actually begins. I wish we were told that story. It is difficult to relate to the characters at the beginning. The secondary story (another love triangle between Carly, Tucker and Brock) doesn’t help either. It creates a distraction. So during the first half of the book I was a little lost, but then Bronwyn took over, I really fell for this character, and got completely engrossed by her feelings and reactions until the end of the book. I really love the way the book ends, it was completely unexpected. I think I'll read the next installment to this love story. Looks really promising

I received this book from the author for review.I really enjoyed the prequel to this book. This book was just as gripping, frightful and awesome!Best part of book: I love Rider! There I said it and it's out in the open! The way that he is towards Bronwyn is amazing, loving and caring! I think he is good and a perfect fit for her! Then there is Ronan! Oh Ronan is B-A-D but has such a strong connection to Bronwyn that is all he can think of. He wants her...period! Now, Bronwyn cares and loves Ronan, but his recklessness with humans is something that she can't handle. These are some serious vampires! Now, of course there is more than just vamps in this story! There are wolves and Faes! OH YEAH!! Jessica Gibson does a great job with the side stories. She weaves them into the current story but still leaves us wanting more. I am excited to see what the next book brings! Not so great about the book: Well, it is not a bad thing, but the book kind of ended quickly. BUT, I am very excited for Book 2!!!

I bought this book on amazonLove and Blood by Jessica GibsonWhat an ending!!! WOW! Okay, this is the second book I read by this author and loved it!! I love the writing style, the fast and easy flow, and also story line. The characters were great!! I was left wanting more and dying for the next book!!! This is a dark vampire world full of supernatural creatures!! I was absolutely shocked at what Bronwyn does at the end and how she acts. Just wait you are in for a ride!!Bronwyn was 19 went to a bar and got something she didn't bargain for. Many years later, Wyn gets attacked at her house because Ronan is looking for her. She calls in the cleaning crew and friends to help her. Seraph and Rider come to help Wyn out and keep her mind straight. Who will she choose the bad boy Ronan or good boy Rider? Both are vying for her affection and commitment. I loved the story and am going to give this great book a 5 star review!!

This book moves pretty quickly. I felt maybe a little too quickly. There wasn't much to the story and I had it read in a matter of a few hours. There wasn't a whole lot of narrative so we don't find out too much about their surroundings or their characters. The story drags a little for me as it didn't seem the author knew what she was going to do with it. There wasn't a whole lot of thought put into it, but I did like that it was a quick read. Don't get me wrong, the story like is good. I think there is more that could have been done with it, but I will leave that maybe for the next book. The characters are very solid. There isn't a whole lot of wavering and there wasn't too much emotion behind it. The decisions were sound and make swiftly. dragging out! I like that! This story gets 3 out of 5 stars.

I thought this book seemed incomplete. A lot of things happen, but we don't get to read about them. Bronwyn becomes a vampire, and suddenly it is 20 years later and she has had a falling out with her creator, Ronan. She is apparently on the run from Ronan, but when he finds her she jumps gladly into his arms. Why? The rest of the book she goes back and forth between her 2 love interests, Rider and Ronan. She seems to be in love with whoever is with her at the time. I didn't understand why she was so conflicted. She just seemed stupid to me.Suddenly werewolves show up and have a big war. That seemed totally random to me. I felt like we were supposed to care about all these characters. But given that this was the first book in the series, not enough time and background was spent on anyone for me to care about them.

This book started off pretty much right where Blood Lust ended. It jumps right into the story with no hesitation.I really liked the characters in this book, especially Ronan. His story leaves me curious for more information about him.I did feel like the book was really rushed. A lot of scenes that could have been drawn out were over really quickly and I feel like the book itself was way too short for the amount of content inside of it.I also feel like the transition between the Ronan story and the Tucker situation was too sudden and abrupt. You're dealing with one story and one set of characters when a whole other world comes crashing into the picture unannounced.I think with just a few more chapters and smoother transitions, I would have really fallen for Love and Blood and could have given it more stars.

This story looks like a classic love triangle...but it isn't. Bronwyn loves two men, Ronan, her sire who kills viciously, and Rider, who feeds only on evil. Doesn't sound like much of an issue but for Browyn the pull to Ronan is irresistible and distresses her as she is trying to stay with Rider. Add in some werewolves and fae and you have an irresistible paranormal story. I do have to say I loved the story, the addition of Carly, Brock and Tucker only made this even more interesting. I am truly wanting more at the end of this book, can't wait to see what's going to happen next! Ms. Gibson did a great job with this book. Thanks for giving me the book to read and review! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good vampire story. This book was given to me in return for an honest review.

I have been tired of vampire books recently, but I couldn’t put this one down. Both books in the series are rather short, almost serial length. My only complaint was that I wanted more. The ending of this one left me shaking my head going, “Oh holy shit! I did NOT see that coming!” Now, I cannot wait to read the next one. All I know is she needs to come on with it so I can figure out what the hell is going on with Rider.

Love and Vampires OH My! The plot is fast and keeps the pages turning. The vampires are blood thirsty and you see them for just what they are predators. Then you have a love triangle Rider the good vampire who does not kill innocence, Roan the bad one who does, and Bronwyn (love the different name) the girl they both desire. Personally I'm a fan of Rider but I can see the draw to the bad boy. As if that's not enough for you there is a war with the werewolves. Alpha and his son are fixing to battle and everyone will join in. Let's have some bloody fighting. I'm a bit torn with my stars on this one and my thoughts. I liked the book but in someways I feel like it was missing something. However, the ending surprised me and makes me want to read some more.

This review is from: Love and Blood (Blood Ties) (Kindle Edition)The plot is fast and keeps you turning the page. The problem with this, for me, was that this was mainly focussed around love triangles! This is also the one thing that will make most readers swoon over the book!In the midst of these triangles is Rider. A dreamy character if I ever read one! For me he saved the book, for most he will be the reason why this author is going to make it big! The author effortlessly captured most females knight in shining armor.WaAr!

1.5 rating.Darn...really wish I would have liked this more ): Why I didn't enjoy this:-Repetitive! Conversations Wyn would have with Rider, Ronan and Seraph were mostly the same conversation. The whole book felt like it was going in a circle. -Wyn, I overall just did not like her. What I did like:-Rider-CarlyI'm currently not sure if I will read the second book, I may just to see if the series gets better.

This review is from: Love and Blood (Blood Ties) (Kindle Edition) I have always loved books with vampires. This was a excellent book. A great follow to Blood Lust. The characters were very vivid in the minds eye. You just fell in love with the heroine in the story. The bad boy Roan didnt disappoint either although I am Team Rider. He is the knight in shining armor that I want. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
